The Sarah Arebu Tahir Foundation was created to honor the dream of a young girl named Sarah, who aspired to become a teacher and uplift others through education. Though her life was cut short, her vision lives on through our mission: to provide children in rural Ethiopia with the opportunities she cherished — the chance to learn, grow, and dream.
What began as Sarah’s personal dream has grown into a movement. Today, with the support of dedicated Ethiopian professionals and compassionate partners, we are building schools, training educators, and creating safe, supportive environments where children can thrive. Sarah’s legacy continues to light the way — transforming hope into opportunity, one classroom at a time.
